Honda Siel Cars India has launched a new variant in the Honda City family that is christened Honda City Exclusive. The new entrant in the City range has got various changes in exterior and interior features that has increased the price tag by around Rs 46,000 (in Delhi). The Exclusive package has been added to Honda City V AT and MT variants that will now cost INR 10.25 lakh and INR 9.53 lakh respectively. The new features include leather seats and leather steering wheel cover, chrome trunk garnish, chrome door sash moulding, body colour mud flaps, Exclusive rear badge and leather shift knob only in the MT variant.

As for the wheels, the new Honda City get either a 5-spoke alloy wheel with 15 inch size, or those funky Y-shaped 5-spokers alloy wheel with the 16 inch size. At the Indian market, the lower end variant of Honda City is available with a 3-piece 5-poke designed wheel cover with 15 inch size. The tyre sizes of new Honda City are 175/65R15 and 185/55R16.
Braking and Handling
The larger diameter disc brakes at the front wheel compared to the older version of Honda City and the new brake master cylinder has been made longer but with a smaller diameter. Honda claims that it allows a more powerful brake booster performance and offers a lower pedal ratio for a more linear brake pedal feel. ABS (Anti lock Brake System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) offers high safety in case of instant braking.

The new Honda City offers more safety features, especially for pedestrians.
