Leading European auto manufacturer Volkswagen has launched its long awaited small car model Volkswagen Beetle in Indian market. The company has launched only one variant of the car and it will be imported as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) from company's Mexico based manufacturing plant which increases the Volkswagen Beetle price to a large extent. Volkswagen Beetle is priced at Rs 20.45 lacs (as ex-showroom prices in New Delhi).

European auto major Volkswagen has launched its most awaited luxurious small car model Volkswagen Beetle in Indian market in premium D-segment. The company has launched only one variant of Volkswagen Beetle which will be equipped with the 2.0L, petrol engine with six speed automatic transmission gearbox. The all new Volkswagen Beetle is a cute looking small car that carries unique and stylish exteriors. Volkswagen India has launched Volkswagen Beetle in India to compete with another D-segment luxurious small car Fiat 500 and another awaiting model Fiat Bravo, that might be launched in the Indian market in June 2010 in the same segment. The company officials announced that they will import the car as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) from its Mexican based manufacturing plant.

Honda Siel Cars India has launched a new variant in the Honda City family that is christened Honda City Exclusive. The new entrant in the City range has got various changes in exterior and interior features that has increased the price tag by around Rs 46,000 (in Delhi). The Exclusive package has been added to Honda City V AT and MT variants that will now cost INR 10.25 lakh and INR 9.53 lakh respectively. The new features include leather seats and leather steering wheel cover, chrome trunk garnish, chrome door sash moulding, body colour mud flaps, Exclusive rear badge and leather shift knob only in the MT variant.

Honda Siel Cars India today announced the launch of a special edition of Honda City that is being sold during the festival season (Sep.-Nov. 2010). The new edition of the car comes with a trunk spoiler, side step illumination, special edition badge and chrome trunk garnish.
